Compare-view
The compare-view is only available if it is enabled by the license
The compare view can be used to display two documents next to each other.
Currently the compare-view can only be activated for ZUGFeRD Documents (PDF-documents with an embedded XRechnung). If you want to compare other documents as well please consider using jadice web toolkit or contact us.
The idea of the compare-view is for ZUGFeRD to compare the PDF-document with the embedded XRechnung to make sure that there are no differences in the documents. As XRechnung is intended to be automatically processed, the PDF-document can be displayed by the user. If, for example, a clerk approves an electronic bill by only looking at the PDF-document, there is a risk that the XRechnung contains different amounts and wrong totals are processed.
If a PDF-document with an embedded XRechnung-file is loaded, the compare-view button in the menubar is enabled. It can be clicked to start the compare-view.
On the left-hand side the PDF-document is displayed, on the right-hand side the XRechnung gets displayed.
With the sync button, the documents get scrolled synchronously.
